Book Review: Say You Want Me

Author: Corrine Michaels
Date published: October 31, 2016
Stars: 4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Genre: Romance, Second Chance Romance
POV: Dual, First Person
There’s no way I’ll fall for Wyatt Hennington.

He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I’m not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him.

It proves easier said than done.

When the doctor informs me I’m the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can’t make this work, I’m gone.

The problem is—when the cards are stacked against us, and I can’t bring myself to leave him, I’ll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real . . .

dividerreview1Wyatt, say no more because I freaking want you! He’s adorable, funny, caring, loving, and most selfish person. He didn’t run away when Angie told him she’s pregnant with his child. True southern man. He never gave up on Angie and their unborn child. He allowed himself to be vulnerable when needed. It just proved that he’s only human.

“I don’t know if we’re right for each other. I don’t know if I’ll come out of this thinkin’ you’re a pain in my ass that I hate, or the girl I want to come home to.” His eyes hold mine captive, and I wait for him to keep going. We stand in the middle of the dance floor, lost to each other as other couples move around us. “I do know this, honey. I won’t walk away without finding out.”

Angie was Presley’s sister-in-law from first marriage. She’s can be annoying with her ping ponging emotions but she knew deep down she’s always wanted Wyatt and eventually came into senses. Thank goodness!

The twist of the story broke these two but love conquers all and HEA!

Wyatt owned this book. I’ve loved him since Say You’ll Stay (Book 1). Baby I’m still swooning. Next up is Trent on Say I’m Yours due on 2017.footer1
