That moment your life changes.
That moment that changes your life.
That moment you love someone more than you love yourself.
That was the moment we gave our son up for adoption and the moment I was left bare. A wide-open space that would forever be empty.
There are moments that define you as a person, moments that prove just how strong you are, moments you push yourself to keep going forward when all you really want to do is give up. It was in one of those moments when I reached out and found him waiting for me.
When Shelby Calder left home fifteen years ago, she never planned on returning to the Alaskan town she left behind. But after the death of her grandfather and a bitter divorce, she hopes going home will be a fresh start for her and her ten-year-old son.
Zach Watters has made a lot of mistakes in his life. But when he sees Shelby Calder, looking more beautiful than ever, standing outside her childhood home, he promises himself that letting her go won’t be a mistake he ever makes again.
Some things never change and love is one of them.

I’m disappointed with this book. I guess I was looking for more.
So the dude and the dudette put their baby on adoption because they’re too young and can’t yet provide. Mhmmm
Then dudette took off.
The dude was hurt blah blah so drugs and sex. Sex with the bff who got pregnant with twins and married her JUST FEW MONTHS BEFORE THE DRAMA HAPPENED! But hoyyy, there’s really no love between these two. Oh Zach, you’re an idiot! He kept the twins and loved them. WHAT THE FICK DUDE. Nope bruuuhh. I don’t know but that’s unforgivable.
15 years later, they still loved each other.
I never moved on. I’m still stuck in the past, trying to figure out how to get back the girl I let get away.
The dudette came back because of divorce then they met again!
Standing on the porch of the house next door is a woman i know he got with a few months after I left. A woman he married soon after she gave birth to their twins. A woman I used to call my friend.
She has a son blah blah then the dude and the dudette got back together. They got pregnant. The end.
Dude you suck and for me that’s one of the biggest betrayals and where was the loyalty? Brruuuuhhhhh you’re worst!
I know they were both hurt but months before he got the ex-bff pregnant and married her!!!!! Well I guess he learned responsibility uhmmmm.
