There’s no such thing as a little in lust…
Archer’s wanted the best for Elle ever since he sacrificed his law-enforcement career to save her. But now that she’s earned happiness and success, Archer just wants Elle 24/7. Their chemistry could start the next San Francisco Earthquake, and Archer doesn’t want to be responsible for the damage. The alternative? Watch her go out with guys who aren’t him . . .
There is such a thing as…
As far as Archer’s concerned, nobody is good enough for Elle. But when he sets out to prove it by sabotaging her dates, she gets mad—and things get hot as hell. Now Archer has a new mission: prove to Elle that her perfect man has been here all along…This was a cute, light read book!
Archer and Elle were both attracted to each other but they hid their feelings by bartering and disliking each one. It’s the the-more-you-hate-the-more-you-love kind of story. I adored both of them and the secondary characters.
Elle and her sister, Morgan, were saved by Archer when he was a rookie cop. This made him broke the protocol and was suspended then quit. Elle was willing to help Archer with his company as her payment for what happened. She blamed herself for losing Archer’s cop’s badge. While Archer was the boss of his own investigation company, he usually enlist Elle for him.
At first, Archer didn’t want to make a move on Elle because he thought she deserve better. (What is with guys thinking like this?) But when Elle starting going out with males, Archer was threatened and realized he should be the one dating Elle. So he sabotaged her dates. She fumed, which turned him on. LOL. He decided to date her, or should I say forced to go out with him. Although Elle was hesitant to commit because she never had and knew that love, she warned Archer that she might not be able to give him what he wanted, but Archer was all in. She also didn’t believe him when he stated he wanted a relationship since he’s more of an ONS kind of guy.
Then Morgan came back with danger on her back. Archer was always protecting Elle because he loved her. He’s adorable being so in love and badass at the same time. As Elle and Morgan put it, he’s “cute”. 🙂
Read this book if you want a light read and adorable characters!
